1.       Majors Available

1)      Majors at Hongkou Campus (downtown campus): Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL), Master of Translation and Interpreting (MTI, including MT in Chinese-English, MI in Chinese-English, Chinese-French, Chinese-Russian, Chinese-Japanese, Chinese-Arabic, Chinese-Korean, Chinese-Spanish), Master of Finance and, Juris Master and Juris Master (Suitable for Bachelor of Laws),Translation Studies, Linguistics & Applied Linguistics, Chinese Language and Philology, Conference Interpreting.

2)      Majors at Songjiang Campus: International Trade, International Politics, International Relations, Diplomacy, Political Education, Educational Technology, Modern & Contemporary Chinese Literature, Comparative Literature & World Literature, English, Russian, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Arabic, European, Asian & African Languages and Literatures, Foreign Linguistics & Applied Linguistics, Journalism, CommunicationsBusiness Management, Finance, Chinese and Foreign Political Systems, Adult Education, Ancient Chinese Literature, Technical Economics and Management, Applied Statistics, International Public Administration, Pedagogy of Physical Education, Language Strategies and Policies,  Advertising., Public Relations, Curriculum and Theory of Instruction.

3) English-taught Programs:

a. Majors at Hongkou Campus (downtown campus): International Relations (China Studies), Master of Business Administration (MBA).

b. Majors at Songjiang Campus: English Language and Literature (the Intercultural Communication [IC] direction), International Relations, Journalism (Global Media and Public Communication)

2.       Length of Program: One semester / One year. Admission is available in both Spring semester and Fall semester. Spring semester begins at the end of February or the beginning of March when Fall semester in the middle of September. Detailed dates are available in the acceptance letter.

3.       Application Deadline: December 31 for Spring Semester and May 30 for Fall Semester.

4.       Application Qualifications

Applications are open to foreign citizens with reliable financial support and stability who are university graduates with good Chinese/English proficiency which meets the requirements for Major studies and in good health.

5.       Application Materials

1) A printed copy of SISU Online Application Form

2) Photocopy of diploma.

3) Photocopy of passport.

4) 2 passport photos (in size of 5cm * 4cm).

5) Application fee: 800 RMB (or 130 USD).
